With a Syrian soul and a Belgian heart, Rasha Zeina's story is one of resilience, belonging, and transformation.

A Syrian woman, Rasha arrived in Belgium in 2015 after a long and life-changing journey, forced to flee the war in Syria in search of safety and a new beginning. Like many who leave their homeland behind, she carried with her not only memories of the places she loved but also the hope of creating new ones.

Over the years, Belgium became more than a place of refuge — it became home. As she built a new life, every experience, challenge, and milestone shaped her perspective and inspired the creation of Amaken, a brand that celebrates the places that define us.

For Rasha, Amaken — the Arabic word for "places" — is more than a name. It is a tribute to the journey between where we come from and where we are going. Every piece is designed to carry a story, honour our roots, celebrate new beginnings, and remind us that the places we leave behind and the ones we discover both become part of who we are.

Through Amaken, Rasha invites others to wear not just beautiful pieces, but symbols of identity, resilience, and belonging.
